Why couldn’t they have told us when we reserved specific sites that they don’t guarantee the site selections? But they did not! They may advertise that they are a family campground, but my view has certainly changed, and not for the better. Manager wasn’t the most pleasant person when asked why they couldn’t return our calls. However, this year we reserved in March for 3 specific sites in a row (as we’ve always done) for family and friends so we could be next to each other.didn’t happen & we weren’t pleased to say the least! My husband and I attempted to call twice, & left voicemails without receiving a reply. We are avid campers and have been making our annual camping trip to Acorn for over 20 years (since our children were 10 & under) without an issue.
